When you sending message to an email address that currently have problem (the mailbox full, the address doesn't exists, or something else could make your message could not delivery to the destination address). You will receive a message have title like 'Delivery failure...' to notice you that your message could not delivery. This message called bounce back email.
Bounce back email
So imagine when you send to a list of hundred email. The bounce back email could make noise in your mailbox. And when you send message again into these email address, it's could make ISP see you as a spammer. You will need UltraMailer help you to manipulate these bounce back emails.
This tutorial help you configure IMAP to manipulate bounce back email address.
Select 'Using IMAP'.
Right click on your sender email, select 'Edit'. Under the POP3/IMAP tab, select 'Using Imap' option.
Fill your IMAP Server, Username, Password.
Fill your IMAP Server, Port, Username, Password. And then click on 'Select Folder', select folder you want to manipulate bounce-back email.
Select Menu Edit -> Manager Unsubscribed / Blacklist
In the main program. Select Menu Edit -> Manager Unsubscribed / Blacklist. You will see the IMAP account have been added to POP3/IMAP list.
Press 'Start' to download bounce back emails
Press 'Start' to download bounce back emails. You can also click on Settings to configure more.
Download finish !
The bounced emails will be added into skip list so you will never bother when sending to these problem email address anymore because UltraMailer will skip sending to any email address stored in the skip list.
